However the mattress is a little shallower than most and our mum test subject Kathryn found it to be quite low to the ground, meaning she had to bend her knees to get her child for bedtime.
It's a bit heavier than some of the other travel cots we've tried, but it's very light and compact. It's easy to set up and the four mesh sides are ideal for visibility and ventilation. It also has a handy changing station with a nightlight, music and changing station however our mom tester Nicola noticed that her son Olly did not really appreciate the extra features, and felt they made her work a bit harder in the dark.

Apart from the additional accessories the cot is basic and simple in design, but it's still one of the best available for its weight and user-friendliness. It is suitable from the time of birth and easily converts into a toddler travel crib or playpen. One side opens for easy access. It comes with a carry bag which makes it easy to transport and store when not in use.
